May 22, 2023: Teaching for Black Lives Study Group End-of-Year Celebration

This is the closing session for the 2022-2023 Teaching for Black Lives study group members. The session features special guest Jarvis R. Givens on conversation with Jesse Hagopian. Givens is the author of Fugitive Pedagogy: Carter G. Woodson and the Art of Black Teaching and School Clothes: A Collective Memoir of Black Student Witness. In addition, study group members from across the country will have a chance to meet in small groups. This is a 90-minute event.
